During Orisue’s recent trip to New York they were able to meet Serge Ibaka, power forward for the Oklahoma City Thunder. He’s a fan of the brand and came by the office and check the O-team out. Ibaka is also known to fans as “Iblocka” since he is among the best in the league for blocked shots and ranked second for this season. Last year he participated in the Slam Dunk Contest but will also enter this year’s contest. Ibaka definitely isn’t missing any style points with Orisue’s Maverick Jacket in Black. Fashawn & Hecktik introduced Orisue to Quincy Pondexter awhile back. He hails from the City of Fresno, CA and was recently traded to the Memphis Grizzlies. The small forward has been rocking that Orisue heavy all through Memphis. Check him out below in Orisue’s Topper Jacket from Holiday ’11.

Agenda Long Beach is a wrap!  That was the first leg of Orisue’s trade show season and it was a great show. They’ve been able to attend Agenda since their beginnings in San Diego years ago and have watched them outgrow venues. From San Diego to Huntington Beach and Anaheim, Agenda made it’s way to The Convention Center in Long Beach. The Orisue squad was firing on all cylinders at that dope venue. With Isaiah holding down line showings for Sales, Josh and Anita from Design were handling interviews for press and media. Richard and Wally were handling marketing inquiries and Allen was doing a little bit of everything! Check out some of the action below courtesy of Amanda.

Today is the first day of the Agenda Show in Long Beach, and that could only mean one thing.  Yesterday was trade show prep day.  Trade show season is always a busy time of the year and getting your booth ready is always a pain.  Set-up yesterday was pretty chill though.  Rich, Walid and Armando headed up the booth prep.

Orisue were recently introduced to MMA fighter Tyson Jeffries by friend Saia. Tyson is from Oregon, but has made his way to Orange County to persue a career as a professional MMA Fighter. He’s found himself in good company training at Huntington Beach Ultimate Training Center with stars like Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Michael “The Count” Bisping”. Tyson recently fought in the M-1 Challenge XXX in Costa Mesa which aired on SHOsports (Showtime).  Tyson held it down for the O-Team by winning his match by way of Brabo Choke which also earned him Submission of the Night. Our family DJ Chachi has been a long time friend of Orisue’s. They first got down when he made a mixtape for the Magic Show in 07. One thing that has joined Chachi’s celebration of the new year, is a recap of the previous year in music all wrapped up in a 2 disc CD compilation he proud to call Split Personalities. Each year for the last 5 years Chachi released a sort of holiday mix if you must and this year is no different.
