Jennifer Hudson set the house on fire last night Strutting her stuff for the season finale of “Dancing With The Stars,” the powerhouse vocalist shut it down with some help from UK electro duo, Gorgon City.
Performing the single, “Go All Night,” J.Hud hit the stage in a shimmering off-white dress with peeped toe heels to match. Channeling her inner Toni Braxton, the talented singer effortlessly glided across the ballroom stage and she belted out for the audience to enjoy.
Known to always take the crowd back to memories of those Sunday’s listening to their granny’s in the church choir, J.Hud certainly didn’t disappoint (as if she ever does).

Last night marked a tremendous night for stars and veterans alike! Heading to Washington, D.C. to participate in the annual “Concert For Valor” spectacle, fans, military professionals, stars, and everyone in between received a few performances of a lifetime. Aired on HBO, the concert was put together to bring awareness of veterans’ support groups, raise funds for charities geared towards veterans, and provide recognition and salute to the troops who have risked their lives for the country.
While the event was filled with stars like Meryl Streep, Tom Hanks, Jamie Foxx, and Will Smith, it was the performances by Rihanna, Jennifer Hudson, and Jessie J that gave us chills on the cold night. Opening up with a jaw-dropping performance of the “Star Spangled Banner,” Jennifer Hudson was then joined by powerhouse vocalist Jessie J to deliver their rendition of David Guetta’s 2011 hit, “Titanium”.
Although the two above gave an expected top performance, one of the biggest surprises of the night came from Rihanna – who possibly delivered one of the best performances of her almost decade long career. Taking to the stage to perform her hits “Diamonds” and “Stay,” the beautiful songstress held nothing back as she belted out on the stage. Sounding absolutely amazing, we’re hoping that this appearance was another indication that #R8 is surely on its way.

Being a coach on NBC’s ‘The Voice’ comes with many perks, but possibly the biggest of all for the artists is getting the national stage to promote their latest music and singles. Waiting until the first week of the live playoff shows, first year coach Pharrell Williams finally hit the stage on Tuesday night.
The platinum hitmaker got the audience on their feet as he performed the funky jam “Hunter” off his acclaimed new album G I R L. Looking more like the Skateboard P of the mid 2000s, Pharrell rocked a green headband, Thrasher t-shirt, and lots of jewelry. He paid homage to his album cover by filling a section of the audience with woman in white robes and dark shades.

Ne-Yo truly believes in the process of artist development, and as has been the case with up and coming singer Sonna Rele, who he signed to his company Compound Entertainment. The British native has been continuously building her fan base with weekly YouTube covers, while honing her craft and working on her debut album.
While she shares something new each Monday, today the singer has released video footage of her getting the chance to sing on stage with Ne-Yo at the famed Royal Albert Hall in London. Using the opportunity to introduce her to the hometown crowd, Ne-Yo and Sonna gave the audience a first listen to their upcoming duet entitled “Just Kiss Me,” which is intended for her album.
A well done duet and stage performance from the duo, leaving plenty of potential for Sonna.

Lend an ear to Tinashe and her amazing voice!
While the official release of the remix to Nick Jonas‘ catchy new single “Jealous” featuring Tinashe, just made its way to your playlists earlier this week, the duo hasn’t wasted much time getting out to promo it.
Taking to BET’s 106 & Park, Nick J and Tinashe opened up the show with a more than stellar performance of the buzzing record. Engaging the audience with his soulful vocals, Nick amped everyone up as Tinashe bopped her way onto the stage to join him during her verse. Chatting with Keshia Chanté and guest host Ray J, the former boy band member and the “How Many Times” singer discussed just how the collaboration came about.
“It’s an amazing song to begin with, so obviously it was one that I wanted to be a part of, so he just reached out to see if I was down to be on the remix and I was like, ‘Absolutely,’” explained T.
While Tinashe’s debut album Aquarius is in stores now, Nick’s self-titled project will hit shelves on November 10 and sees the former pop star exploring more of a R&B side. “It was a really important thing for me to step into my soul and R&B influences on this record,” he said. “When I was working with my brothers, I didn’t really get to do that as much, but I had the freedom to just go in and create and experiment.”

Jazmine Sullivan finally made her comeback this year, and while she continues to prep for the release of her anticipated third album Reality Show, the R&B vocalist has been back on the performance circuit sharing her vocal gifts as much as possible.
Always impressive, the Philly native gave her hometown fans something unique and special to remember her by with a performance of the National Anthem at the home opener of the Philadelphia 76ers game this past weekend. Often one of the most criticized songs to sing, Jazmine showed off her creativity by performing “The Star Spangled Banner” with an acoustic guitar player.
A new take on the song, but the singer delivered making for an entertaining rendition. Check out the footage below:
