By now, you should know about Mario’s #MarioMondays visual series, as he drops video footage of what he’s been working on in the studio and more. We already know that he’s been busy recording his upcoming album, tentatively titled “Restoration,” which is currently slated for a February 2012 release.
Recently, Mario took to Twitter to announce that he’s working on a new mixtape and that he wanted fans to submit their ideas for the title of the project. He’s finally chosen a winner — ‘Truth Be Told.’ Aside from announcing the mixtape title, Mario also takes us behind the creation to his cover of Adele’s “Rolling In The Deep.” Not many artists can touch that song, and offer a worthy cover, but I think Mario just did that!

Anthony Hamilton made his way to Cleveland for his ‘Woo’ Tour over this Thanksgiving break. Not only did he feed the needy in Cleveland but he also performed some new music from his coming album. “Pray For Me” is off Hamilton’s highly anticipated fourth studio album, Back To Love due in stores December 13th. Usher moved the audience of the 54th Annual Grammy Awards Nominations Concert, with a special tribute to songwriters. The R&B hitman was joined by Valerie Simpson and Mike Stoller, who helped honor their deceased songwriting partners, two music legends we lost this year — Nick Ashford and Jerry Lieber.
Ush and Valerie opened with a touching rendition of “You’re All I Need To Get By,” followed by “Stand By Me” backed by Mike Stoller on the piano. Take a moment to reminisce.

Rihanna checked in from across the pond at the “The GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live!!” RiRi performed “We Found Love,” the #1 single off her new album Talk That Talk, in a pre-taped piece from her concert in London. The Barbados pop star has been nominated for ‘Album Of The Year’ & ‘Best Pop Vocal Album’ for LOUD and ‘Best Rap/Sung Collabo’ for “What’s My Name” featuring Drake.
Music’s biggest night will air live from L.A.’s Staples Center on Sunday, February 12, at 8 p.m. on CBS.

Mary J. Blige paid a visit to the ladies of ‘The View’ this morning. The R&B legend powered through her latest single “Mr. Wrong” off her 10th album My Life II… The Journey Continues (Act I), which is expected to debut in the top 5 on the Billboard 200 with 165,000 copies. Trey Songz brought out fellow crooner Ne-Yo at his special concert benefitting his Angels with Heart Foundation at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. The R&B gentlemen had the ladies going wild as they performed their sexy collaboration “The Way You Move.” In addition, Trigga debuted cuts off his 5-song EP Inevitable, which arrives Tuesday.
“Angels With Heart benefit concert was a huge success!! Thanks so much to every1 who supported! My boy @NeYoCompound killt it as well! Love,” tweeted Trey, while Ne-Yo added, “Shouts to my fellow squire @TreySongz for sharin’ the stage with a gent tonight. Gotta do it again soon chap! Much love!!”
Following the concert, Trey celebrated his 27th birthday with friends at an all-black birthday bash.
