During Roc Nation’s Jahlil Beats interview with XXL, the producer reveals that he is working on new music with boss Jay-Z, along with others such as J.Cole, Big Sean, Rick Ross, Busta Rhymes and much more.

“Me and Jay-Z been going back and forth. He picked a couple of my joints that he’s working on. I don’t even wanna say too much about Jay, but we definitely working on some stuff. I haven’t even sent him a bunch of beats. I sent him my favorite stuff. He hit me right back like, ‘Yo, I’ma go in on this,’ or, ‘I like this.’”

“I also been working with No I.D. We working out a situation right now. A crazy situation about to pop off. He about to take me under the wing like he did with Kanye. He gonna help me on different angles of production, ’cause there’s always room to improve. I’m 24. I’m a student to the game.”

“Roc Nation treating me good. They got me working for real. I did some stuff with J. Cole, we cut a couple joints. Big Sean. Busta Rhymes. I was out in London working with Leona Lewis and somebody else that we ain’t really gonna talk about right now, but it’s ridiculous. I’m also working with ‘Kiss, Styles. I got Ross. We just dropped Ace Hood’s single for his album. I’m on Khaled’s album. DJ Drama.”

While on his I Am Finally Famous World Tour, Sean slips on stage performing “Gang Bang” at  Washington State University.

John West just dropped his brand new single “Already There” last week, and the soul singer has now released the video! The rags to riches tune is brought to life by director Joseph Garner, shot in NYC, following John as he pawn’s his watch, eats at a diner, and parties with featured rapper Big Sean. The Brian Kennedy produced, feel-good, radio friendly tune is the new single off West’s Mercury/Island Def Jam debut album, coming early 2012.

Soulman John West returns with some more great tuneage for our ears. The Louisiana native teams up with Big Sean on his newest single “Already There.” The radio-ready, feel-good song, driven by catchy keys and heavy drums, lead John as he sings, “I ain’t got a dollar, but I’m feeling like a millionaire.”
The Brian Kennedy-produced track lifted off of West’s upcoming debut album via Mercury/Island Def Jam, and the video has already been shot for the single. Listen to the new joint now, and find out how the collaboration came about after the jump.
