The Game recruits DJ Khaled, Diddy, Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, Fabolous, Yo Gotti, Wale, Swizz Beatz, Curren$y, Problem, King Pharaoh and TGT for ‘Don’t Shoot,’ which he addresses the violence in Ferguson, MO, and the death of unarmed 18-year-old Michael Brown.
“I managed to get everyone on fairly easy, simply because we have hearts. We care & are inclined to take a positive approach to resolving an issue that has existed since the beginning of mankind & that’s RACISM & hatred towards one another as human beings. – Game”
The FADER and vitaminwater have partnered once again to present #uncapped, a series of concerts dedicated to supporting emerging musical talent and “hydrating the hustle” of today’s breakthrough artists.
The concert series kicked off last night in New York City with live performances by Jeremih and Run The Jewels (Killer Mike and El-P).
Dressed in all-black with a gold chain and dark wayfarers, Jeremih opened his set with a live rendition of “Bo Peep” supported by a four-piece band. Not too long into the set, the special guests started rolling out. First was Estelle, who joined Jeremih for their duet “Be In Love,” before performing her mega-hit “American Boy,” with Jeremih providing harmonies.
Harlem’s Vado showed up to rap on him and Jeremih’s recent collaboration, “Bae,” but it was NYC hip-hop staple Fabolous, who stole the show joining Jeremih for a couple tracks, including their hit “Thim Slick.” The R&B crooner wrapped things up with two electric performances: a slightly downtempo take on his breakthrough hit, “Birthday Sex,” and his newest smash, the YG-featured “Don’t Tell ‘Em.”
Rick Ross connects with Fabolous, Ma$e and Big K.R.I.T. for the official remix to ‘Supreme’.
The original was featured on his Mastermind album in stores now.
Red Café links up with Fabolous for his new single ‘Pretty Gang.’
Mally The Martian grabs Fabolous and Mike Davis for this new banga called ‘My Dawgs’ produced by CT Beats.
This will be featured on Mally’s upcoming project The Wolf of Mall Street due out June 19th.
CMG artist Snootie Wild connects with Fabolous, Jadakiss, YG and French Montana for the official remix to his track ‘Yayo.’
DJ Self keeps pushing his “Yeah Ok” single by adding a new verse from Fabolous on the official remix.
The original version featured Rick Ross.
With five days left until the release of his debut album, Testimony, fans are getting the opportunity to hear what August Alsina is cooking up. Orignially found on the 2013 follow-up mixtape, The Product 2, “Get Ya Money” has found its way onto the upcoming album with an added verse from someone special.
Calling on “Thim Slick” rapper Fabolous to lay down his bars on the newly revamped cut, if you weren’t a fan of the single before, you’re sure to be one now. Uploaded to DJ Khaled’s soundcloud, the release of the song comes ahead of the already shot visual. Fabolous, who has been known for creating magic with R&B artists throughout his career, should add a sense of interesting style to the shoot when placed next to the young N.O. native.
Take a listen to the remix/new version of “Get Ya Money” below:
This is taken from The Soul Tape 3 out now.
Producers Sean C & LV collaborate with Jadakiss, Bun B, Fabolous, Rob Zoe and Anthony King on “Live For Today.”
This serves as the second leak from their upcoming mixtape Loud Dreams Vol. 1 dropping March 25th.
