During Roc Nation’s Jahlil Beats interview with XXL, the producer reveals that he is working on new music with boss Jay-Z, along with others such as J.Cole, Big Sean, Rick Ross, Busta Rhymes and much more.
Read what he had to say below.
“Me and Jay-Z been going back and forth. He picked a couple of my joints that he’s working on. I don’t even wanna say too much about Jay, but we definitely working on some stuff. I haven’t even sent him a bunch of beats. I sent him my favorite stuff. He hit me right back like, ‘Yo, I’ma go in on this,’ or, ‘I like this.’”
“I also been working with No I.D. We working out a situation right now. A crazy situation about to pop off. He about to take me under the wing like he did with Kanye. He gonna help me on different angles of production, ’cause there’s always room to improve. I’m 24. I’m a student to the game.”
“Roc Nation treating me good. They got me working for real. I did some stuff with J. Cole, we cut a couple joints. Big Sean. Busta Rhymes. I was out in London working with Leona Lewis and somebody else that we ain’t really gonna talk about right now, but it’s ridiculous. I’m also working with ‘Kiss, Styles. I got Ross. We just dropped Ace Hood’s single for his album. I’m on Khaled’s album. DJ Drama.”

Viewers and the studio audience were treated to a performance of Cole’s single “Work Out,” that’s now certified gold as of last week. Beyoncé takes everyone behind the scenes of the video shoot for her latest Kanye West produced single “Party.”
“The inspiration is trailer trash, ghetto fabulous, out there, edgy,” explained by Bey’s stylist. As Beyonce enjoyed the ease of the video stating, “I like this video. It’s no choreography, no pressure. All I have to do is party and have a good time.”
J.Cole admired how informative Beyonce was on everything that goes into shooting a video. Check out cameos from Kelly Rowland, Solange and Theophilus London to name a few, well that may be it.
