Who’s still saying R&B is dead?! TIME magazine has unveiled their coveted annual issue of the 100 Most Influential People In The World, and some of your favorite artists have made the list!
Along with Jay-Z, who landed one of the multiple covers, Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, Frank Ocean and Miguel have all been included in the honorable accolade.

On Monday, Chrisette Michele paid a visit to radio station Majic 102.3 in DC while on the ‘Woman To Woman’ tour. The R&B songstress treated listeners and staff to an intimate up close and personal listening session and interview.
The Grammy-award winner previewed her upcoming album Better, participated in an revealing Q&A session, where she talked about her new crush, her first meetings and experiences with Jay-Z and Kanye West, and also, how she becomes incredibly nervous whenever she’s around Beyoncé, and shares a funny story of one of their encounters.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z are celebrating their fifth anniversary in Havana, Cuba. The power couple were mobbed by fans as they walked through the streets. Sporting box braids, Beyoncé soaked up the culture as she took photos on her personal camera, while Jay smoked a cigar and wore a straw fedora.
They dined at renowned restaurant La Guarida on Wednesday night with Bey’s mother Tina and Jay’s mother Gloria. Bey enjoyed the honey chicken and sipped daiquiris, and posed with the restaurant staff. Police had to step in to deal with the crowds, who gathered to catch a glimpse of the Carters.
On Thursday, they toured colonial Old Havana and lunched on the rooftop terrace of another restaurant with a majestic view of the harbor.

Justin Timberlake continued his promo for new album The 20/20 Experience by visiting BET’s ‘106 & Park.’ The Pop star spoke to hosts Bow Wow and Paigion about his creative process, and working solely with Timbaland on his albums, he revealed how his upcoming summer tour with Jay came about, hinted at working with Beyoncé, and shared that he and Jay-Z have ‘a lot’ of songs together, and maybe they will see the light the day…

Music history was made in Atlanta last night, as Jermaine Dupri pulled off an epic concert at the Fox Theatre to celebrate So So Def’s 20th Anniversary. The stage was like a “who’s who” in chart-topping acts, as everyone from Jay-Z, Mariah Carey, Usher, Ludacris, Young Jeezy, Nelly, Lil Jon, Monica, Kris Kross, Bow Wow, Anthony Hamilton, Da Brat, Jagged Edge, Xscape (Latocha and Tamika Scott), T-Pain, Lil Scrappy, Youngbloodz, Bonecrusher, Dem Franchize Boyz, J-Kwon, Dondria, and Pastor Troy took the sold-out crowd on a musical trip down memory lane. The Fox Theatre was alive with the sounds of classic songs like “Money Ain’t a Thang” (JD & Jay-Z), “Jump” (Kris Kross), “Yeah” (Usher, Ludacris, Lil Jon), “Who Can I Run To” (Xscape), “I Gotta Be” (Jagged Edge), “Welcome to Atlanta” (JD, Ludacris), “Give It 2 U” (Da Brat), “I Think They Like Me” (Dem Franchize Boyz), “Coming From Where I’m From” (Anthony Hamilton) and so many more!
“I’ve made more hits with this man than anyone else,” said Usher, acknowledging Dupri on stage. “Congratulations to my friend, JD!” said Mariah, as she wheeled out a cake at the end of the show.
Overwhelmed by the energy of the crowd and the support and well-wishes of his celebrity friends, Dupri was humbled: “Wow…this is crazy,” he said. “We did it! Thank you everyone – the fans, the artists..ain’t nobody f’in with my clique!”

Last week, rumors started to circulate that Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z would be hitting the road for a co-headlining tour. While no official statement has been released, the two have been announced as the headliners of the upcoming 2013 Wireless Festival in London.
The two day event will be held at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on July 12-13, and the “Suit & Tie” hitmakers will be joined by some of R&B’s hottest stars including Miguel, Frank Ocean, Trey Songz and more. Check out the shows lineup below…
