In honor of Mother’s Day on Sunday, Trey Songz & his mother, April Tucker called in to Power 99’s Morning Show with Uncle O, Mina SayWhat, Mikey Dredd & Muthaknows. They spoke about what Trey’s doing for Mother’s Day, his nickname name, their “Angels With Hearts” charity, upcoming Chapter V album and dating African women.

Trey’s new album Chapter 5 is due out mid-summer featuring some big names. “I got a record with Tip on there ['2 Reasons'],” said Trigga. “Shout out to [Lil] Wayne, Big Sean, J. Cole, Kelly Rowland as well. A lot of great features thus far and I’m still recording.”

Burgeoning singer-songwriter Eric Bellinger is certainly making a big name for himself within the industry this year. MTV News recently caught up with Kelly Rowland on the set of Trey Songz’s “Heart Attack” video. The R&B diva briefly spoke about her next album, and her forthcoming Australian tour.

The follow-up to her third solo LP, Here I am, will have a theme: “I made sure that I locked in on a concept and everyone that’s come in to work on this album, we’ve all built around it. It’s just building up so beautifully. I’m so proud! So I can’t wait till all of my fans hear it.”

Kelly is not only readying her next album — she’s documenting the process. “I’m in the studio,” she said before breaking out into conspiratorial giggles. “Man, it’s been so much fun. I do wish that some of my fans could be in there for that … [so] I have taped a lot of moments for my fans.”

“Motivation” singer Kelly Rowland recently sat down with Grammy.com to discuss her last album Here I Am and future plans she has lined up. Kelly Rowland … three times. We were still waiting on maybe another single off Here I Am, but that seems bleak now. However, the Pop R&B star has been working on new music, and looks to continue with her return to “R&B.” On her latest album she delivered a mixture of genres, including her recent fling with dance and euro, the 31-year old singer is supposedly returning to her urban roots with her next album.

As we reported this past Friday, Trey Songz “Anticipation 2our” stop in Atlanta saw many guest appearances. Among them, R&B vixen’s Keri Hilson and Kelly Rowland joined Tremaine on stage setting the crowd into a mild frenzy. Some fan footage has finally surfaced of Trey bringing out Ms. Rowland for a performance of the divas smash hit “Motivation.” The video starts off with Keri making her exist, but not before she plants a romantic kiss on Treys neck, which certainly caused a lil commotion. Trey Songz gave Atlanta their money’s worth when his “Anticipation 2our” rolled through town on Thursday. Following Big Sean’s opening set, Trigga pulled off surprise after surprise while rocking the stage at the Fox Theatre. He cozied up to Kelly Rowland during “Motivation,” got frisky with Keri Hilson, held court with the King of the South, wilded out with Wale, and turned things up with Waka Flocka Flame.

After the tour wraps in Tennessee on Sunday, Trey will gear up for the release of his fifth album Chapter 5, with an arena tour to follow in the fall.
