Pharrell is ordering up a hot serving of girls and his new video for “Come Get It Bae” proves it.
Finally releasing the visual to the dance heavy track, Pharrell calls on beautiful women of different shapes and sizes to take control in front of the camera. Serving as the second U.S. single from his G.I.R.L. album, Skateboard P also lets Miley Cyrus do her thing in the Luis Cerveró directed vid.

Whether it be for his incredible production skills or unique vocals to lay down on a track, the star has been on the top of the list of people to call. It’s only right now then, that he receives a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Pharrell Williams returned home to Virginia Beach on Saturday, June 7 and spent the day encouraging local students in his From One Hand to AnOTHER program and his alma mater Princess Anne High School to make their dreams reality.
Pharrell was honored at Princess Anne High School homecoming event where he announced FOHTA’s partnership with Everfi which will provide digital learning opportunities for students taking part in FOHTA’s Summer Innovation Camp. Pharrell spoke on the importance of education, urging kids to “Pay Attention.” He honored his teachers, credited them with his achievements, in particular his Band Teacher Alan Sharps, who was in attendance. Pharrell also called for higher wages for teachers and pay equality between women and men teachers.
“Curiosity is at the heart of every lesson, if you’re not curious than you’re not going to absorb it,” said the hitmaker.
Pharrell was then presented with Key to the City of Virginia Beach and honored with a state proclamation to make June 7 Pharrell Williams’ Day in the state of Virginia.

Mary J. Blige and Pharrell Williams have reunited once again to bring back some joy. The music icons have collaborated for the brand new song “See That Boy Again,” off the soundtrack/album to the anticipated comedy Think Like A Man Too.
MJB sings about longing and the journey to reconnect with a lost love, while the “Happy” hitmaker puts positive vibes into the universe on the upbeat R&B track.
“I gotta see that boy again / ‘Cause I wanna feel that joy again,” sings Mary.
The soundtrack to the Kevin Hart comedy arrives June 17 featuring 14 new tracks from Mary J. Blige including a duet with The-Dream (“Vegas Nights”), the single “Suitcase,” and her remake of Shalamar’s ’80s hit “A Night to Remember.”

We can’t get enough of Pharrell these days. After traveling to the UK to perform at BBC Radio 1’s ‘Big Weekend‘ festival, the hitmaker returned to Los Angeles, and paid an early visit to Power 106 for an interview with ‘Big Boy’s Neighborhood.’
Pharrell spoke about individuality, uniqueness, making “Happy” for the animated movie Despicable Me 2, and why certain songs and artists are great. He tells Big Boy why it’s possible for so many people to be famous all at once.
During a fun, impromptu moment Skateboard P beat-boxed for Big Boy while he rapped the classic Ice-T song “High Rollers,” and later spoke about creating his new classic album G I R L.

Pharrell has taken over the world with his infectious anthems and now the Neptunes hitmaker is getting ready to take his show across the globe.
Announcing that he will be returning to Europe for the “Dear G I R L” tour in support of his sophomore album G I R L, the artist/producer will kick off the overseas trek on September 9 in Manchester, UK. P has only confirmed 18 dates so far, which include multiple shows in Germany, France, Spain and more, and currently culminating at the O2 Arena in London.
Last week, Pharrell released a special dedication to his inspiration with the viral letter ‘Dear G I R L‘.

Andy Samberg returned to host the season finale of “SNL.” In addition to appearing in skits, the funnyman premiered a new digital short from The Lonely Island for “Hugs” featuring Pharrell, Maya Rudolph, and Tatiana Maslany. The G I R L hitmaker passes out hugs to a mama in a Subaru hatchback and sets up shop, charging $0.50 to hug his female admirers.
“So don’t catch feelings / It ain’t love / We’re just the kings of givin’ out hugs,” sings the self-described “hug gigolo.”

The greatest, most beautiful species on earth are women, and Pharrell has been championing this feeling heavily with his sophomore album G I R L. Following the release of the music video for his single “Marilyn Monroe,” the “Happy” hitmaker uses additional footage from the video shoot to share a visual letter titled ‘Dear G I R L.’
“That which makes you different is what makes you special,” says Pharrell. “I love when you’re silly, I love when you smile, make a funny face, I just melt. It’s beautiful to see a girl that is honest and free.”
Set to the beat of Marilyn as well, Skateboard P breaks down the songs hook at the end of his letter.

BET Networks has announced the nominations for the 2014 BET Awards. Nominations were announced in 20 categories, selected by BET’s voting academy comprised of a group of respected entertainment professionals in the fields of television, film, music, social media, digital marketing, sports journalism, public relations, creative arts and fans.
Beyoncé, Jay Z and Drake lead with five nominations each, while Pharrell Williams and August Alsina follow with four nominations.
“This year’s nominees represent the best of the culture,” said Stephen Hill, BET’s President of Music Programming and Specials. “It’s great to see our talented new artist’s right alongside our more beloved ones with long careers.
