It was bound to happen and it was only right that someone bring out R. Kelly at this year’s Lollapalooza festival. That duty was brought to fruition by Chance the Rapper who closed out the show on the large Perry Stage on Sunday night.
Chance introduced the controversial R&B star halfway through his performance, as he joined him on stage for “Acid Rain.” Kelly then launched into a three-song set including “The World’s Greatest,” “Bump N’ Grind” and “Ignition (Remix).”

Singing out, “It’s your world baby and everything in it,” the new collaboration, which was produced by DJ Terry Hunter, shows both singers in their element of celebratory love. Adding in his own vibe to the song, Kellz was the prime candidate to call on for the new single.

Oh yea? Kellz demos … we are always here for that! Tyrese made an incredible comeback with his Grammy-nominated album Open Invitation in 2011, and one of the featured tracks entitled “Angel” was penned by his friend and one of his musical mentors R. Kelly.
The version that ended up on Ty’s album was a duet with a female singer Candace, but as you can hear here, Kellz writes and sings both parts, along with both male and female voices on the bridge. Another example of the genius that is R. Kelly, and a great additional to any fans collection.
