Like DJ Skee says, “All We Make Is Masterpieces.” And like that, Game and Skee drop another one and raise the bar once again.

With a mixtape so heavy most artists could call the recipe for their album, Game packs another round of All-Star features, A-list production and a tracklist so deep that it has to be spread over two discs.

The cameos represent your favorite rapper’s wish list of features: heavyweights Rick Ross, Fabolous, Drake, Lil’ Wayne, Lupe Fiasco, Trey Songz, Pharrell and Snoop; mixtape men of the moment 2 Chainz, Meek Mill, French Montana, Nipsey and Ace Hood; plus the likes of Shyne (?), Slim Thug and Ace Hood.

Contributing beats for this project are Game’s usual suspects like Cool & Dre, Mars and Tre Beats, plus heavyweights like Just Bleezy, The Neptunes, Boi 1da, Lex Luger and others.

At this point, Game’s blurring the line between album and mixtape and for you, the fan, that’s a very good thing. Guess we can do nothing but wait for his next album, tentatively named ‘F.I.V.E.: Fear Is Victory’s Evolution’, to see the result. Judging by this mixtape, the album can be nothing but fire.

Game tells Billboard new tape will be titled California Republic and should be released by the end of this month.

“My album’s always got to have some level of a concept. So that’s it. ‘Five: Fear Is Victory’s Evolution’ and who knows when that will drop.” As for the mixtape, which follows free offerings like “Purp & Patron” and “Stop Snitchin-Stop Lyin,” Game says that “California Republic” will “have some new and upcoming artists from out this way… You can expect my mixtape to do what it always does, which is consist of a lot of good music and be a lot better than most artists’ albums.”

Coming straight outta Compton, red-rockin’ Game had three solid albums under his belt after four years in the game, including his 5x Platinum debut The Documentary. That fourth album proved to be the most trying and elusive album for the Black Wall Street leader, who’s seen his fair share of expected releases come and go for this long-awaited R.E.D. Album. Now Mr. West finally sees his day on the shelf and releases his fourth major label solo studio album, featuring a feature and production list as star-studded as his name-droppin’ lyrics: Dr. Dre, Lil’ Wayne, Snoop Dogg, Young Jeezy, Drake, Big Boi, Rick Ross, Kendrick Lamar, The Neptunes, DJ Premier, Cool & Dre, DJ Khalil, 1500 Or Nuthin’, Boi 1da and more.

Hoodmorning [No Typo] [Candy Coronas] (NoDJ) is no different, which means that in the last 16 months since Game dropped “The Red Room” mixtape he’s dropped four classic mixtapes (6 if you consider ‘Purp & Patron’ was a double-CD followed by a bonus disc) to hold his fans over as they patiently (and impatiently) waited for the R.E.D. Album.

Game sat down with The Breakfast Club while he was promoting ‘The R.E.D. Album’ in NYC. When discussing why it’s taken him so long to put out his new album, he said that he’s been chilling with his family and that people expect him to put out music everyday. Angela asked him about the album being pushed back 10 times. He said “a couple times I wasn’t ready musically, and a couple times it didn’t fit on the labels schedule. It happens, it’s the business.” Charlamagne asked him about the “Uncle Otis” record being a cry for attention. “I just felt like doing it,” Game says. “I never had to explain myself to nobody, not even Charlamagne Tha God.” He said he wishes everyone would stop taking it so personal.

Angela asked Game about changing his mind a lot. Charlamagne tells him he’s in the class of most bi-polar rappers, and Angela asked him if he really is bi-polar. He clarifies that he didn’t take a stab at Big Sean on “Uncle Otis.” Envy asked him about the situation with his manager Jimmy Henchmen. He also discusses his relationship with Dr. Dre, if he would do a G-Unit reunion, falling in love easily, promoting gang culture, and more.

“The following is a DJ Skee presentation…” That’s pretty much all you need to hear and you know it’s gonna be a winning ticket. When The Game and Skee get together their mixtape track record speaks for itself — they make classics.
